hello and Welcome!

I’m Giulia,
I’ve been working as an Art Director and Graphic Designer since 2007, after graduating from IED - Istituto Europeo di Design in art direction. My experience in graphic design has been enriched over time by continuous training, which has allowed me to develop multidisciplinary skills and to face professional challenges with flexibility.

At the same time, I discovered a deep passion for tailoring, which led me to specialise in pattern-making and sewing.

Later, I’ve studied Fashion Archive & Heritage Management. This field combines my creativity, historical research and the preservation of cultural heritage.

My experience with the Compagnia Marionettistica Carlo Colla & Figli (puppet theatre’s company) is an important milestone of my professional journey, where I’m contributing to the design and development of a digital archive dedicated to puppet theatre (work in progress).

I have collaborated in various fields, including theatre, performing arts and cinema, with experience as a costume designer for small projects. Since 2022 I have also been working as a seamstress at Sartoria Teatrale Franzelli (tailoring for the performing arts) in Milano.

This combination of experiences allows me to use all my skills in communication, design, tailoring and cultural knowledge.
